I hear ya! I’m one week out and not near the weight I was hoping to be for the wedding.

Honestly though – I am a ridiculous amount healthier (FI makes me eat really healthy, and I exercise as much as I have time for). And I’m beginning to think that really is the most important thing. Definitely doesn’t make wearing a bathing suit any easier though!

I haven’t tried on my dress since I bought it (living in another country), and I’m terrified! It barely did up when I bought it and haven’t really lost much weight since. It’s a size 10, and I am a street size 14 on top and 16 on bottom. I read everywhere that wedding dresses fit really small, so I’m freaking out even more thinking I might have the wrong size all together!

Don’t give up though! I know it’s tough and super crappy, but your health is so much more important than your weight. 🙂 You’re definitely doing the right thing by keeping with it!!

i found the easiest way to achieve weight loss goals is to have a partner – preferably your FI! my husband and i have made a  pact to go to the gym 4 days a week mon-thurs even if its just for 30 minutes. it is really great because if i dont feel like going he will be like nope we are going and visa versa – its so easy to just tell yourself “ill go tomorrow” or “ill eat right tomororw” but when you have someone to push you and to lean on for support i think it really really helps! Good Luck – and know that your shape and size does not define who you are 🙂

I totally hear you on this one. I feel like I try so hard, and do good for a few days, then the weekend comes and it just erases all my progress. Plus, we just got our e-pics back on Wednesday, and, while they are great pictures, there are ones where I just cringe at how I look, so I’m feeling like I really, really need to step up my efforts.

@greenmint: this

I will have a great week and then the wine and going to eat always kills me on the weekend.  I however started doing the 30 day shred yesterday and I’m really commited. I can’t stay this fat forever.

I will totally have a pity party with you. I want to loose weight so bad but im just lazy! then when I do commit (eat really healthy/exercise) It takes months to loos just a few pound then I give up… I think I will be fat forever too. I love the beach and i cant imagine putting a bathing suit on this year 🙁

I can totally relate to this. I have been on WW for like 9weeks I think it is…..but my life has been crazy busy and I haven’t weighed in since the 13th and that week for some reason I gained 1.4lbs! I was devestated.

I struggled alot last week with getting myself back on track and not letting it affect me…I haven’t been tracking like I should but I have been watching everything I eat. I did weigh in this am and it said I am at 236 which is that 1.4lbs gone again exactly! So, that made me happy.

We are moving tomorrow, so I know that’s going to be some good exercise so I’m hoping that brings me back down to actually hitting my 5% goal with WW which is 235.4.

It’s a daily struggle but we can all do it. That’s why I love this board, because when we need motivation, our fellow Bees are right here to help!

When I first changed my eating habits it totally felt like that.  I always felt the same, my body never changed (in my mind).  It took months and months of forcing myself to eat the same pre-packaged dinners each day.  Eventually, I got used to it and it became my routine.  Most people think it is depressing, but about once a month or so I will get something other than a frozen dinner for lunch.

I started eating 1 Luna Bar for breakfast, 1 Smart Ones for lunch, and then two pieces of pizza for dinner as I loved pizza.  I might have those mini rice cakes with that since I loved rice cakes.  Now I eat the same meal every day and I’m still losing weight.  I don’t recommend it for everyone, but I see a ton of results with it.  I am also one of those people who can listen to the same song about 20 times in a row before I get bored with it if I really like the song.  I am very into routine.  If you know you are, eating the same thing each day with a little variation will work wonders. =)

Me! I gained back two pounds this week, which I know was because I didn’t stay on points AT ALL, but it is still upsetting. I agree with @Ahone: if i stick to the same basic meals everyday I do great, but when I switch it up I gain.
