After many many calls to every bridal store in my state I finally found a store about an hour away from me that carries a sample of what I’m 90% sure is my dream dress. Catch is- the sample is a size 26…. And I’m a 4 or maaybe a 6 In bridal (0/2 petite street size). I know dresses can be clipped but I’m guessing this one will be so large that it’ll lose all shape on me if I attempt to try it on. Has anyone every tried on a dress this much to big for them? For reference it’s an Eden GL 024.

As long as you’re not buying the sample, I’d go to the store to at least SEE the dress and make sure the details and quality are what you expect. Try it on and if the shape is lost, try on a similar shaped dress closer to your size to make sure thats your favorite silhouette…there are tons of dresses that style.
It is a beautiful gown!

I do not think you will be able to get a good sense of how this dress looks on you, but I agree that it may be worth seeing in real life to make sure you like the lace, etc… Just make sure you at least try on other lace mermaid dresses to see if you like the shape on yourself!
