    I think it’s fantastic-pefect for the beach!

I posted in the other thread – I would do something more natural/bronzy for a beach wedding.

I think it’s very pretty, but not very bridal.

If you want this makeup then wear it! I think it would work especially well if your setting is more casual, as beach weddings usually are.

However, I think it does have the potential to look very dated much like when we look at our parents wedding photos from the 60’s and 70’s.

You will probably get a lot of people telling you to try more natural makeup, but it’s about what you want.

If you really like the colour scheme, you go do the same colours but muted a bit. Like light lavender lids instead of heavily pigmented purple with a healthy flush instead of very obvious blush.

I actually like the second look better. To me, smoky eyes say “important event” or “special occasion” if that makes sense.

I think the first look is okay, it’s just a little much and very evening.

I say, do the same thing but with less blush and a warmer purple, and don’t put it under the eye.

I think you just need to tone it down a bit. The cheeks are way too much in the first picture. The eyes could maybe work if you didn’t have shadow underneath.

I love your dress!  Who’s the designer. It’s pretty similar to mine, except from the bust up.

I love the look, but just not for an outdoor wedding. I would say that’s good for a night out. I’m all about trying new trends and sparkly make-up. But ultimately its your day so if you love it you should do it 😉

Yeah, it’s an outdoor wedding, but if your makeup looks good, it looks good, you know? To me, it’s bright and cheery and would suit a beach wedding just fine.

I went super natural for my beach wedding… Lipgloss, mascara, blush and foundation. Having my time back I would have probably went more heavy on the eyes… but in this case I think tone down the purple.

I think the first look is a bit much, even for a beach wedding. The second one is lovely, but still a bit much in my opinion. I’d say go for something more natural and simplistic. x
