Did you have any idea what shape you’re looking for? (Mermaid, A-Line, Ballgown, etc.)

I LOOOVE this one.  I wanted to try it on but couldn’t find it.  It’s got the lace underneath and then organza on top of it and I think it would be totally fine for an outdoor wedding.

Or there’s this one with all over lace which is also gorgeous.  I saw another bee was selling the one below.

Probably should’ve told you what they are.  They’re both Morilee…first one is 1602 and the second one is 1651.

I like all of the above suggestions, lol.  Those are really pretty dresses.

As far as groom’s attire:

*not necessarily rolled up since you’re not getting married on the beach.  But this color would be nice and light and is less formal than say…black?  Which maybe he wouldn’t wanna necessarily wear.  Maybe let him kick it with some sneakers or toms?  🙂 hahaha

Then again, hell maybe he wants to wear some jeans!

I think you can DEF wear a wedding dress fancied up and pull off any groom look.  All of the above are so nice and laid back in my opinion.  Hope this helps.  I just googled casual groom 🙂

Gorgeous venue, btw.  =)  It kind of reminds me of mine in some ways haha.  I love it!

@SuperDuperBrit:  I really like the look of the first 2 guys.

@Phutson84:  Wear what you want!  For what it’s worth, I love light, flowy chffon dresses, but if that’s not what makes your heart sing, there are other options.  The only thing I’d say is maybe not go with a huge train for outdoors.

@abirdword:  Yeah, I think they’re really nice.  I love each look for a different reason.  They’re all less formal than say a gray or black tux.  I think both of them should wear what makes them happy.  =)  Hopefully the suggestions help her.

The only thing to consider is, will it be hot? I tried on exactly one mermaid dress, and my thighs started sweating before I even had a chance to say “I don’t like this dress” haha. So that may be something to keep in mind if your greatest concern is comfort for an outdoor wedding!

Otherwise, just get what you love and make sure your shoes aren’t stilettos that will sink into the grass with each step!

@Phutson84

Gorgeous venue!  Any of the dresses pictured above and styles that you said you liked would be very appropriate.  As long as its not an overwhelming large ballroom gown it should go nicely with your venue.

@Phutson84:  I’m wearing a lace dress and we’re getting married outdoors, I don’t think it’s a big deal! I’ve never heard anyone say lace dresses aren’t appropriate for outdoor weddings. If you like lace, I say go for it! It is beautiful and classic, and even though it’s trendy right now I think it will still look beautiful many years down the road. My grandma’s wedding dress from 65 years ago was lace.
