@imanw:  yes to the brooches, no to the flowers. they look especially cheap next to the shiny metal

@imanw:  I normally don’t like brooch bouquets because they’re usually too uniform, but I really like that you tossed in the bigger silk flowers. I think you’re on the right track!

I realy like it except for the big white flower. I envision a different kind of flower, perhaps in a different color. But it really is well-done.

It looks kind of cluttered and doesnt really match.

Good for you for attempting this, may I suggest that you use the flowers as a base and cover them with brooches on top?

I disagree with pp, I think the flower makes it look better! It really adds to it and breaks up the monotony of the metal.

Something is off, but I’m not sure what.  Maybe the size of it right now?  It seems like broches are too big and just looks cluttered.  Could be the color, or lack of?  Are you trying to do a uniform white/clear stone bouquet?

IMO you should lose the leaves. I think that’s what throwing it off. I like the style of the flowers but maybe try to find some that are bit smaller. The broaches are so pretty they should be center stage IMO. But it looks really good so far!!

Love it! I would maybe add toulle (sp.) or netting all the way around. Could be the photo angle that I can’t see it. However, it would add that romantic touch along with the chic, relaxed, glamorous feel of the large flower and sparkly aspects if the toulle went all the way around. What do you think? Btw: I am in AWE of your DIY skills!

I think the broaches are a little large for the size of the bouquet (specifically the large silver flower, maybe move it to the edge or a lower layer?). Also the large white flower on top is a little out of place
