So sorry you had such an awful morning!! Hope your afternoon goes much, much better!!!  Can’t you take the pup to a different vet just this one time to get him started on antibiotics? I can’t believe they wouldn’t squeeze you in. That sucks! Poor pup.  Hang in there!

@Snowflake  That’s good that they are taking the urine sample. I missed that in the original post. That’s good!  Sounds like you have a wonderful vet! We do too. I love him. He’s so kind, gentle and soothing (and of course knowledgable!). Wow, your best friend is due any second? You are definately going to have a crazy few days…hope it all goes well!

Awe what a crappy morning!  I have definitely had days like those where you just wanna crawl back under the covers!!  Hopefully you’ll get your pup all fixed up and you can have a nice glass of wine tonight when you get home- make DH drive you to the hospital in case of emergency!

Oh wow!  That’s even more impressive.  Both my MIL and SIL work at the hospital (SIL catching babies no less) and both would flip sh*t if they knew I was even considering a non-hospital birth.  Good for her!  And I hope your day is getting better.  That was a hell of a start!
