ok guys planning a wedding it so hard more when your are trying to do everything… i found this lanterns and i fell in love with them… i bought one just to see them on person… my colors are black, white and red so im planing of painting the metal of these lanterns black. planing to use white tablecloths and black runners and if i like the lanterns i will use them instead of flowers because that way they will be cheaper. but i also want to hang from the middle of the tent chinese lantern in different sizes…. do you think i can make this work??? i should i stay only with one style?? do u have any other advice… maybe changing something…

I think you could definitely mix them. I think the more lanterns the better.
But, the metal portion of the first lantern actually looks pretty dark, so maybe you don’t even need to go through the trouble of painting them black.

I agree with PP about painting them. I think they look plenty dark. I think all of the lighting will look fantastic, and add a really great feeling to your reception. Go for it!

I think they’ll look good together, AND you don’t have to paint them! No one will be looking THAT closely. Or even thinking about it.
