Not unless you smacked her with a trie iron, or she has that bone disease (what is it called, with the extremely brittle bones?)

@SamanthaLovesJames:  I agree. You hurt you more than you the baby. Nice cushy amniotic fluid.

No – the amniotic fluid surrounding her cannot be compressed. She is cushioned from being “smashed” as long as your water hasn’t broken.

nope…not possible, unless ofcourse you bend over and smashed your belly on to the corner of a table with full force, and even then…she’s probably just peachy in there!

No, definitely not. It would take something more like a hard fall down the stairs or a car accident. Don’t worry about it.

@SamanthaLovesJames:  I have had the same silly worries. I spent all weekend bending over repeatedly as I packed boxes to move. It was uncomfortable and part of me worried I was making the baby at least uncomfortable if not hurt, especially when it seemed like I wasn’t feeling him move all that much! I had a similar paranoia about tight jeans too given the level of discomfort I was in before I had decent maternity pants. I feel ya. I have an education in science and yet I still always find something silly to be worried about when it comes to this pregnancy!
