I read your last post. I’m so sorry you’ve gone thru all you have recently.

I think some pics may help, because you had me up until you mentioned red. Just my preference, but I’ve never liked pink and red together. Too Valentines Day for me. But, maybe I just can’t visualize what you’re saying.

I’m definitely digging the gold glitter and hot pink though!

I personally don’t like red and pink together, especially hot pink and red. I do love your idea of using shades of pink, champagne, gold and pearls though!

Hmm I’m not sure red and hot pink would work. Pink and red can work but they have to be the right shades. Do you have any pictures?

That sounds like entirely too much going on. Hot pink, gold, red–all those are very strong colors. I would be worried it would get too valentines/teen-ish instead of an elegant wedding. It just doesn’t sound cohesive to me.

Here’s my 2¢:

Either ditch the red/burgundy altogether, and go with the hot pink, OR, ditch the hot pink and trade it for red/burgundy with the blush.

I don’t care for the baby/hot pink/red combo.

But I still definitely love the champagne and gold glitter 🙂

creativeplannertobee:  this is good. The purple and takes away the severity of the red and pink. The purple would still go with the gold and champagne too.

I think red and pink can work together but that it takes a very experienced eye and a large budget to really make it work. I would stay away from it. Shades of pink with champagne, irovy and gold will look spectacular together, I think adding another colour will just give you a headache.

angyjaxon:  I love the idea of red and gold. I also love the idea of pink and gold. I think you should pick one or the other. I think pearls are super classy and will work with either.
