Been lurking for quite a while and finally decided to hopefully get some words of wisdom from you amazing Bees.
Long story short, my grandmother bought me this dress, which at the time was my dream dress, right before she passed away. I love the top and the sides but at this point, am hating the tulle and the poof. My mom is convinced that a seamstress would be able to remove the poof underneath as well as take it in once it is removed, while leaving that top layer that is showing. What do you ladies think? My amazing boyfriend has the ring and I am waiting and we are starting to plan a few things and I am really feeling stressed over this dress. And I am sorry the picture is so huge. It is the stock photo : )

Oh for sure you could! They can work miracles (if you have a great seamstress, do research!!) It will def get rid of the poof and make it more fitted. Just make sure you tell her in detail what you want.

Oh yes, definitely, you can have some of the poof taken out. What a beautiful story, I’m glad your grandmother got to get you your dress!

How awesome your grandma bought you the dress! It will be great to have her with you on that day even when she is not physically present. Yes, as PP have stated, any good seamstress can remove the poof!
