Since before I started planning our wedding, I wanted a cathedral or chapel length veil. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how elegant and classic they are. However, the people around me (ie, bridesmaids and mother) are more conservative when it comes to veils and don’t really get the beauty of them. So, I am looking to you bees, can I rock this a veil similar to this:
with this dress (without the belt):

I should have mentioned that my mom and my bridesmaids prefer a fingertip veil – however, that is what they all had. I think once they see the cathedral length, they will be in love too. 🙂

Definitely! Go for it. I am doing a long veil too, with a similar dress shape.

I really want a long veil; I think they are just so romantic. I don’t see why that is less conservative! If anything, I’d say they are more formal and thus somehow more conservative… in my mind anyway. I think that would look beautiful for you!

I love the look of a cathederal veil with a trumpet dress. I think it is so dramatic and stunning. I have seen so many pictures of them it makes me wish I had the curves to pull of a trumpet dress.
