Here's ours! It's vintage, from the '20's. :)
I don't have a picture, but as my fiance likes comic books, we are going to have comic book action figures for a cake topper. His favorite is Ironman and then I am going to have the Black Widow for mine. heehee.
Here is mine - It is a bride & groom version of our college mascot (where we met) and I had it made it through an etsy seller.
We arent having toppers. Just having chocolate covered strawberries at the top of our cake
@Melini: Love that! Those kitties look like mine! I am not doing a cake topper, but looked at this seller too, when I was considering so I had to comment. Now I'm doing birch branches and little birds placed around the cake to go w/a little bit of a rustic theme.
I really enjoy seeing these. I needed something a little light hearted and this is perfect. Very pretty and all so different.
@bluebird615: Thanks! If we were dog people, I'm sure we'd have had them present in little outfits, but this was as much inclusion in the wedding as our kitties would tolerate.
Our little 2.5-D family portrait is a treasure to me. I'm glad that we had it done. If anyone else is looking at this vendor, she's a total joy to work with.
@Melini: I totally would include my cats too, if I could, at the ceremony. But we're getting married at a zoo that doesn't allow live animals. ha! :) I know what you mean though.
I just saw that save on crafts has toppers now for a great price http://www.save-on-crafts.com/woodpeople.html. I ended up with a vintage topper I bought off of ebay
@mjameson83: that is seriously vintage- I had that couple on my wedding in 1977 -- ewww- does that mean I am vintage too
i bought this one - because i love willow tree- it was my first "wedding" purchase - before choosing color and everything - unfortunately it didnt match, so i just had my cake lady do a bunch of gumpaste roses intead -
i still have this at my house though - in our bedroom

Unfortunately the exchange rate is NOT in our favor (if you're in the US) but I found her site a few years ago and just fell in love with her toppers. I haven't seen anything that I like as much!
She is wonderful - very good at communicating, and just a sweetheart.
Here's ours. I painted the flowers to match the wedding colors.

I had ours made by a seller on Etsy. She modeled it after our 2 dogs, that we can't have at the wedding. Had to incorporate them somehow as they are my babies.
