I’m stumped on what to do for our escort cards. Our wedding doesn’t really have a theme per se…..it’s just kind of us. lol Our colors are cranberry red and slate grey. We are kind of incorporating San Francisco into our wedding because we got engaged on the Golden Gate Bridge, but so far the only way that is really being brought in is having a trolley as our transportation and a little mini bridge behind us on our cake topper.
I’d love to see your escort cards…..I just can’t come up with anything creative.

We had a board with one of our engagment pictures printed on 16X20 paper, and then I printed vellum paper with the names and tables, and pinned them in alphabetical order with a bejeweled tumbtack..
and I JUST NOTICED the sodas and water behind the escord cards. OMG that looks terrible!

mine won’t be done until the day of the wedding.
we are having the ceremony and wedding at the same location. at the entrance we will have a big photographers backdrop with our names & logos on it (like red carpet backdrop). when the guests arrive, they will get their pictures taken and during the cocktail hour the 4×6 pictures will be printed out and put into a stand with their name & table number. these will be ready when the doors open for dinner. they will be able to take their pictures home and i will get a copy for keepsake of the day.

You could use individually wrapped squares of Ghirardelli chocolate and add a name tag
Poptastic bride has free downloads for these escort cards. You coul make the lipscranberry red and the moustaches slate grey

@Robin_Sparkles: My weddding didn’t have a theme either. I had an elegant, formal, evening wedding, so I had my escort-card envelopes calligraphed by the same amazing calligrapher who addressed my invitations. We had them placed in alphabetical order on a beautiful dining-room sideboard near the entrance to our ballroom.
