I know this sounds like a silly question. I am really leaning towards the audrey style tea length dresses or short sleeved tea length dresses. On these dresses, the shoulders cover enough for me to be able to wear a regular bra. I think strapless dresses looks horrible on me and I loathe wearing strapless bras they never give me enough support and I feel myself always adjusting. Trust me, I have tried. Im just not comfy in them at all. I am a size 6 or 8 in street clothes and my bra size is a 36DDD so I’d like to cover them as much as possible. Looking for something modest. What do you think about this dress or dresses?
Also about the pic with the short sleeved dress down below. Do you think I can get a VS bra that I can convert the straps to those clear ones? Do you think you would be able to tell I had clear straps on with the lace over it?

Just found this thread and am curious if you found any other ideas. I’m in a similar situation and can’t believe there are almost zero options in wedding dresses for those who want to wear a regular bra. I don’t want to show cleavage but I also don’t want to look too modest/dull. I want to have fun with the style. Strapless bras and halters are really uncomfortable (borderline painful) for me after about 45 minutes.

@jessyrez: When I went to a bridal store to try on dresses I wanted a one strap (ended up strapless anyways!) but they said that they could add straps to any strapless dress. Some of them would work better with straps then others. They were THICK straps too, the ones they showed me like 3 or 4 inches, but they said they could make them any thickness. Maybe try calling around and seeing who can do that? The place I went to was on the less expensive side also, so I have a feeling most places can do it.
