FI and I will be taking engagement pictures soon and I’m wanting to get some ideas on Save-the-Dates, particularly ones with photos. We’ll probably be DIY-ing the Save the Dates and I have some ideas in the regard, but I really want a nice picture that sort of says it all. So, whether you included a picture or not, please share what you used. I need all the inspiration I can get!

We wanted a fun, kinda goofy one. We took these photos on a backpacking trip and I photoshopped them all into one image. (The backdrop is very real though – love that spot!)

Save the date! Jessica + Phil July 12, 2014
Formal Invitation to follow
ETA: This didn’t come out right. The text should be in the top left corner, and in a different font. I sent it as a google doc. It took me about 5 minutes.

We bought this design from a seller on Etsy. The design was only $12.00! Then, we uploaded it to Vista Print, and received 60 magnets with envelopes for $17.00 (thanks to a groupon). In all, our Save the Dates cost $29.00!
Here is the link to the Etsy shop!

@FutureMrsHarris2014: We bought our Save the Date desgin from her as well and they turned out amazing!! She was so great to work with.
I went to Staples and had them printed out but since they messed up on the first print job they ended up giving me the right ones for free.

I made mine in Adobe Illustrator – it was super easy! I also made a card to accompany with location, website, formal invitation to follow, etc. I ordered the magnets from overnightprints.com & printed the cards at Staples

@DaniDev143: Thanks! There was alot of trial & error, but I really love them! I really wanted something that conveyed the rustic-romance feeling and I feel like they really do the job!
