I think you can definitely wear your dress again. I'd LOVE the opportunity to wear my dress again. I'm sad I only got to wear it once!
Of course you can!! We were joking on bee tv last night that we all want to wear our dresses so bad that maybe we should have a bee tv where we wear them. Not really, but that's how bad everyone wants to wear their dresses again. You're so lucky you have an actual opportunity to.
Go for it, I don't think it would be in the least bit tacky, I think it's entirely appropriate!
Go for it and what a way to save money! I am wearing mine but I have a more simple, casual JCrew dress and we got married on July 4th so we are throwing a huge party in honor of new house, anny and holiday next summer and I am wearing it!
This is actually pretty common - go for it! They will love getting to see you in your dress!
Why wouldn't you wear it??? I couldn't imagine wearing a different dress for anything wedding day related!
It's your dress so you can wear it as often as you want. Most brides will only wear their dress for a total of 8 hrs at most and some only wear it for 1hr at most despite the cost. If you want to wear it again, go for it. It's not a breach of etiquette at all since you aren't inconveniencing anyone or making them uncomfortable.
how lucky to be able to wear your dress twice!
hubbys cousin married a girl from overseas and she wore her mothers wedding dress twice, once for the US wedding and once for the aussie wedding and i thought it was fab she got to wear it twice
I'm and American marrying a Brit as well. We're having our wedding here and his family will join us but they have offered to throw a 2nd reception over in England and I'm jumping at the chance to wear my dress a second time. I can't wait and feel so lucky that I'm one of the few that will have this opportunity. Yes, wear that dress a 2nd time and if you can, a 3rd too!!
I think you’re blessed by this chance! I would love to use my dress more than once!! maybe I’ll use it to our "Chilean" celebration once we have the actual money to celebrate again :)
I say go for it as well! I wish I could have more than one opportunity to wear my dress. :p
yes! one of my good friends had a wedding ceremony, then two receptions for their respective home towns and we all marveled at her dress '3peat' in awe!!!
I definitely think you can especially because you have such a beautiful dress (I chose Adelaide as well!)

I am an American marrying a British guy and though we are having the actual wedding here in the States, we will be having a "blessing ceremony" in London a month after we get married. For a variety of money and time related reasons, most of his family will not be able to attend our American wedding. Because of this, my fiance has asked me to wear my wedding dress to our second ceremony so his family can see me in it.
Is it tacky or weird a breach of etiquette for me to wear my wedding dress to another event? I kind of feel like it might be show-boating, but I don't know. Thoughts?
