LadyKM:  I would definitely not wear it. Even if the bride were super laid back, I’m sure a lot of guests would side eye it. You would definitely stick out like a sore thumb!

Wow, that’s a great dress!!  I don’t know if I’d feel OK wearing that to a wedding though….even with fun accessories and a colorful shoe, it’s still pretty white.  How well do you know the bride in question?  Would she be OK with you wearing this?  Could you ask her?  If she is OK with it, I’d find ways to add pops of color where you can, and maybe find a solid color wrap or sweater to have with you as well.  That will certainly help.  But I’d ask the bride to see what she thinks!

No. There are plenty of other options out there. Not suitable for a wedding guest. A brunch, a nice dinner, a graduation.. yes. Wedding guest – NO.

It woldn’t bother me for a guest to wear white, but it would bother many brides and a lot of guests would also be taken aback.

    I would find another dress.

Beautiful dress but I definitely would not wear it to a wedding.  i think it’s not only the white but the type of fabric that’s making it a no for me.

One of my cousins wore a white lace dress to my wedding. But it was far more casual then that dress. Normally I wouldn’t care but even you said that you would wear that dress as an informal wedding dress (for like a brunch wedding or court house etc) so I’d say no. The fabric is very formal despite being short.

I think it depends on the bride. Someone wore a white pants suit to my wedding, it wasn’t an issue for me. Just another colour, but some people get very bent out of shape over it.
