one thing to consider is whether there is some chance of getting them dirty (ie: if you're walking in wet grass or dirt). but if not, why not get another use out of them?
I know someone who did exactly that- wore her wedding shoes to the rehearsal dinner to break them in!
So why not! As long as you don't think they'll get ruined, I say go for it!! But I also recommend that you wear them BEFORE the rehearsal dinner around the house to break them in. The last thing you want is to get a big blister on one of your heels from the shoe, only to have to wear those SAME SHOES right on top of that blister the next day!
I don't see why you couldn't wear them beforehand. It's probably a good idea to break them in anyway!
Go for it! If you love them, WEAR them! Might as well get more than one days use out of them
I'm glad that my assumption was wrong! I'm so excited to wear them more than once! :) Thanks, ladies!
*you* can do whatever *you* want to do! it's *your* wedding!!
wear them twice, love them twice as much!
have fun! :)
I wore mine! There were steps to go down at the ceremony site, so I wanted to practice in my shoes so there weren't any mis-steps. :)
I think it's a great idea to wear them to your rehersal.
Wear them!!! If you have a short dress for rehearsal and a long dress for the wedding, wearing the shoes at the rehearsal will give you a chance to show them off a little more - especially if you LOVE them:)
Be sure to break them in a little before the RD night, especially if you're prone to blisters. It would suck to have them tear your feet up, then have to put them on again for your wedding!

Hi ladies,
I think I know the answer to this question but figured it was worth asking. I bought a pair of Grazia Valentines to wear to my wedding--absolutely love them. However, they are not dyable, so I'm stuck with ivory silk shoes afterward.
Is it taboo to wear them to my rehearsal dinner if they end up matching my ivory cocktail dress? I don't know if it's bad to wear them before the big day, even if it's just the day before. At least I'd be breaking them in, right? (I know, I know, I'm supposed to break them in by wearing them around the house.)
Any thoughts?
Thanks!
