I would 100% wear that. People wear things like white sweaters and peacoats all the time in the winter. And that outfit is cute! Especially with the red details :)
I think the "no white after Labor Day" went out a long time ago. Tehre are plenty of white winter clothes out there!
I do think the dress looks kind of summer-y, though. Do you have a bolero or some other jacket type thingie?
White is appropriate if that is what you want to wear. If it wasn't, you wouldn't be able to find a single clothing item anywhere in that color this time of year, which is not the case at all.

I think ivory is totally different from white--ivory is a year-round color. That "no white after labor day" rule only applied to pure, bright white. That said, it really is dead. I think that when wearing white, you need to keep in mind the fabric. A breezy pure white cotton voile skirt would probably look silly in the middle of winter. White sandals look strange in the middle of winter. But a sexy white bodycon dress made of rayon or whatever that is in the middle of winter looks just fine. It's a year-round shape and fabric in one of Christmas's traditional colors. I wouldn't hesitate with some tights and maybe a sweater. Hope you rocked it. :)

Need opinions--STAT!
I am going to a christmas part tonight, and don't want to go out a buy a new dress. it is "cocktail attire" more or less.
I have this dress I want to wear but I don't know if it's okay to wear white in december.
what do you think? if you were at an xmas party and saw a girl wearing white would you be like "wtf? it's december!!!"
I would wear it with red heels, a red feathery/flower thing in my hair and red lips.
