Are you particularly wanting to get married in a CofE church? I think it depends on individual churches/ministers, but in general the CofE decision will be based on how your FI's previous marriage ended. If he was widowed, there will be no problem at all. If he was divorced because she committed adultery, CofE allow remarriage.. other than that CofE can be more strict but I think it totally depends on the CofE minister.
Saying that, there are other denominations of churches that will be more leniant in England. I would recommend phoning a few churches and talking to each individual, explaining you situation. you never know until you ask! And if its important to you, it's definitely worth a shot.
@mrsbacon: super thanks! his Marriage ended in divorce plain and simple, but we will be marrying in Chile, thus no CofE england here, but yes a few interdenominational congregations. I think you're right, it depends on individual ministers. I'll start with those first, dont think cathloic will allow it at all.

hi ladies,
My Fiancee has been married before, in a Church in England. Thus i am unsure as to whether he marry me in a Church. I am catholic but not Confirmed, thus I am guessing I can marry in another church that accepts us. Marrying in a church is quite important to me. Any thoughts super appreciated!
