Hi bees 🙂
I just have a quick question
My fiance & I are moving into our new home in June and theres a beautiful catholic poliosh church in our new area. Even though were not polish (portuguese) do you think we would still be able to get married in that church?

I don’t think it would be a problem so long as you’re Catholic and join the parish. Churches can’t turn you away just because you don’t match the majority of the population, and I’m sure they would be happy to have you 🙂 Call the rectory to see about joining.

You’ll probably have to become a member of the church, but after you become a member, it shouldn’t be a problem to get married there. My huband and I got married in the Polish church that he grew up attending. I’m not Polish, and nobody had a problem with that.

If it’s a Catholic Church you will have to join that parish and be Catholic.
