So I still have 14 months till our wedding, but I’m stressing over the dress!
We are getting married on a beach and it will be HOT. I’m already having nightmares about not being able to find a dress.
Id like to wear something light and floaty but think I will look awful in it due to my size (uk size 22)
I’m terrified to go dress shopping. Can anyone post oice of their plus size floaty dresses?

@Liverpoolbride: definitely! and I will go find some pictures for you right now!

Definitely! This dress didnt look as good on me as it did on others, but I’ve seen TONS of plus size girls rocking this floaty dress.

If the gown is well made and fits your body, I am certain you will look lovely on your big day! My favorite looks on plus size brides have structured tops that make the girls look amazing and then skim the curves gently. The pics posted totally fit the bill!

I think my wedding dress is light and floaty, and I’m a size 18/20
(this is before alterations, it needs hemming)

- Wedding: June 2014 - Dunes House - Hilton Head Island, SC
@SparkleBee11: Ooh, I like these dresses, the first two especially.
@ferdie224: That dress is gorgeous!
@Liverpoolbride: Absolutely – try to get something where the top part is fitted and the bottom is more of an A-line.

Thanks for the pics and advice everyone. I hope dress shopping goes ok. I am going to start hunting next month when I’m back from my holiday
