I’ve never had them but from what I hear there are a lot of different kinds. There are some that clip in and out while others are glued in or sewn in. Some are little bunches while others are full tracks of hair.

Are you thinking about getting some for your wedding?

@soinlove79:  I like clip in extensions because you don’t damage your hair (well probably a bit from where they are clipped, but it’s not the same as having them sewn in). For clip ins, I recommend HelloGorgeous – they are thick and she matches your own color by combining up to 4 shades. I’ve had mine for years and love them.

@soinlove79:  I used clip in extensions for my wedding day.  My hair dresser put them in as she went and it took no time at all.  I ordered curly extensions, and she didn’t have to curl those pieces for my updo either.

I used cliphair.com.  They were about $94 for the pack (don’t remember the details regarding length and weight).  There was also someone there who could colour match, and she did a good job with mine too.  I’d recommend them.

That being said, I have only worn them the one time so I can’t comment on how long they last.  I know some parts of mine got a bit tangled due to all the bobby pins in my hair, but I wasn’t concerned as I don’t plan to wear them again.

My sister had some extensions that got looped into her hair.  They looked great and she kept them in for weeks.  BUT it took her friend about two hours to put them in.
