I fell in love with this dress when I was looking for dresses. I ultimately ended up with Watters Harmony.

A dress that looks a lot like it is the Maggie Sottero Grace Kelly.

If you like lace in general, I am a fan of Watters and Wtoo styles. Jasmine bridal also has a lot of lace options. Also, another lower budget option is David’s bridal. They do have lace their too!

I will attach a picture of my dress Watters Harmony and the Grace Kelly.

Good luck!

Good luck! I fell hard for lace too! Everyone thought I was a bit crazy, but I knew that I wanted lace!

I would start thinking about what style of dress would look best on you. The jacquelin dress you posted above is a sheath dress so I knew it would look awful on me because I am very hourglass shaped. The watters harmony dress worked well for me because it is A line. Good luck finding some local stores to try dresses on!

I love lace dresses too. I think they are very romantic and feminine. Allure Bridals carries many lace dresses. My favorite one is style # 8634.

I too have a distorted body image and wanted an A-line or empire waist dress for a long time because I thought it would be the most flattering for my body type (ergo, hide all the bulges). The consultant at a bridal salon put me in a trumpet/mermaid dress and I was surprised at how it emphasized my curves, and the dress found a teeny waist i didn’t think I had. I suggest trying all sorts of silhouettes when at the salon to see what looks best on you.

Have fun!

@baldor1: That Allure was one of the first dresses I tore out of a magazine. GORGEOUS in person. I went in thinking lace trumpet…. and bought a taffeta ballgown. lol.
