    Hello Bees,

I was wondering if any of you have experienced symptoms similar to mine. I am about a week late and have abdominal and lower back pain, and in the past couple of days felt really tire and sleepy, and instead of a period I have a lot f CM. Sorry for the details. I took a pregnancy test, but got a negative result. Can I be pregnant? Any Bees out there with the same issue?

hmm.  Lots of CM and tired does.  Are you sure you're a week late?  Are your cycles regular and are you off HBC?  It could just be too early to test, or it could be you aren't actually late yet.

That's a tough call because so many symptoms can be pregnancy symptoms! I'm 9 weeks along with twins (!) but I didn't start having any real symptoms until 6 weeks in - then I got really ill and exhausted. My pregnancy symptom at 12DPO was no symptoms! Do you chart at all? I found it to be extremely helpful (and fascinating) since I could see what my body was doing!

I honestly couldn't tell you because it seems like almost anything can be a pregnancy symptom.

I did not start having more CM until like 20 weeks along.

I agree with Ms DD, that I didn't have the increase in CM until the second trimester.  The sleepies I think are from a rise in progesterone rather than hcg, so that one could go either way - you have high prog in your tww, and if you're pg.  And the pelvic discomfort is hard to say too.  I just had twinges and pulls rather than anything I would classify as pain or cramping, but I know others say they felt very similar to AF symptoms.  Good luck!
