Weddingbee boards

Ok, So we have about 1 month until the wedding. I sent out the invites at the beginning of Aug...giving guests 2mos notice. I have received many rsvp's from my family, but absolutely none from FI's half. I know they have a couple weeks before the rsvp deadline but come on! I have a feeling we'll be calling a lot of people. I wish I could have a better idea on who would come, but I honestly have no clue about most of his family. (Our wedding is out of state for most of them). My mom had to actually call some of them several times to get a definite answer for my bridal shower.

Also, my FI planned to have his nephews as his groomsmen along with my brother and FI best friend. 2 groomsmen and our flower girl just informed us last week that they couldn't come ...(they are all one family). Now, I found out yesterday that the other 3 nephews (all one family) cannot afford to be in the wedding. We've told them about a year ago what it would cost for tuxes and they were okay with that. Now they cant. Grrr.. So now my FI is down to 2 groomsmen and a ring bearer and I have 6 bridesmaids and no flower girl. Yea, we're quite uneven. I'm even more irritated because they went on a few vacations this year and splurged on a big-screen tv. I guess some people just have different priorities.

It's so irritating when things don't go the way we planned, especially when things are so critical.
