I’m thinking of doing a three tier cake in 10 inch, 6 inch, and 4 inch tiers. Still unsure about flavor combination.
Lets see urs and can u tell me the tier inch sizes and flavors u chose? I’d like to see what different tier combinations look like. Bonus points if u have a photo of a slice showing the inside or if a person is in the photo showing a size reference!

We’re only having 40 guests so our cake will be small. Its going to look like this one, except with a light gold ribbon and blush colored sugar flowers. The bottom tier will be 10″ in diameter. Not sure of the dimensions of the other tiers.
Our bottom layer is going to be red velvet, and the other two are chocolate with raspberry chambord filling.

I cannot for the life of me remember what our tier sizes were but I remember the flavors!
The top layer and middle layer was lemon with raspberry filling.
The bottom layer was chocolate with Bavarian cream filling.
Our cake was supposed to feed 120 or so and we had 90 guests and leftovers that we ate during the gift opening.

Ours will be 12, 10 and 8 even though we onky need a 10, 8 and 6. Oh well. This is the design idea with raspberry almond cake.
And then our toppers:

We had a three tier cake it was made a family member who is a pastry chef, it was chiffon with strawberries. We planned for around 100 or so people I think 80 came to the church and many came to the house and ate but we still had left over cake with was yummy. I’m not sure what the tiers are but it is probably 6″ 10″ 14″

Our’s was 14″, 12″ and 10″. (Planned for 225). The top and bottom tiers were lemon cake with fresh raspberry buttercream filling and the middle was mocha with chocolate hazelnut filling:

@adoc86: That is one gorgeous cake! My goodness …
@BeeG35: We had a 3 tiered cake which was chocolate with “Baci” filling which was basically tasted like Nutella. It was delicious. I have no idea what our tier sizes were but here is a picture:
And a picture where you can see a slice:

@BeeG35: yes they do! 🙂
I actually had bought that exact cake stand months before I started even thinking about the cake design. Then I saw that cake and I fell in love. Plus I felt like it was kind of meant to be since I already had the same stand. There was another bee who had used this cake for inspiration too and it turned out gorgeous.
@mylittleviolett: thanks! Your cake looks delicious!! I love that swirled/messy buttercream look. I’m pretty jealous of your flavor too! Our wedding has a few little Italian details here and there so Baci would have been perfect – who doesn’t love Nutella?!

This was my cake – one tier chocolate, one vanilla and one lemon. I’m sorry I don’t remember the tier sizes, but it was made to feed 120 people and we had loads left.

I think each layer was about 6 inches.
