Oh no! That stinks, I hate the snow too. Are you stuck inside?
It has been nice here for a week or so but I don't have any pictures of it! I'm waiting until after the wedding to get a nice camera, with which I'd take those kinds of pics.
We just got more snow this weekend or I would. I think it's starting warm up, finally, though.
nope, definitely not stuck inside... I have to trudge through it all every day to get to school, haha. Lots of slipping and sliding, but it's been over a week since I've fallen - although that was a pretty nasty fall. I had a bruise about 9 inches across and 3 inches tall on my bum! It hurt to sit down for like 3 days :(
It still looks kind of dead here to be honest. A few flowers coming up here and there, but nothing much, but here's a little pic I took lol
Daffodils blooming, but it's a horrible horrible picture taken with my phone on my way to work.

I'd post a picture of some white guys' hairy pale legs in flip flops if I could find it without activating a work censor on my laptop. Spring always means untanned people come out of hiding, LOL. I saw my ankles the other day and was like, "whooaaaaaa". Those bad boys are pasty.
We have some crocuses here but it's grey and supposedly going to snow on Sunday. It's actually been way better this year than others, but you never know when you're going to get a second winter (sometimes we have snowstorms into April). I'd take a picture but it looks pretty depressing out there right now!
@ejs haha! So true. I'm a pasty person. I tried to prepare myself by using some gradual tanner on my legs, but it was making me kind of orange-ish. I went out for a bike ride Saturday with hubby and I was excited when I came back with a very slight farmers tan! :D
@eenie - that's the most green I've seen in a long time! also, your dog is super cute :)
@JoesWifey - awwww daffodils are one of my most favorite flowers! I totally miss them.....
@all the pale people - I'm relatively pale too, and never bother trying to tan (I mostly turn red, not a nice brown shade, it's gross looking), so other pale people don't bother me. :)
Oh no. Well, it was 75 F here all weekend, sunny...absolutely gorgeous!!! But we suffered through record amounts of snow to get here, and it's back down to 50 and thunderstorming today. :(
But here's a pretty picture I took in the the woods nearby! Thanks to the recent warm weather we've had a lot of things bloom the past few days.
And I'm willing to post images of my pasty untanned white legs in the miniskirt I wore to a costume party this past weekend, if you want... ;P
@eenie, your dog is adorable!!
@daydreamwander, if it's any consolation, it's dreary and rainy here in the great state of MI. I wish I could send you the smell of wet grass though, because that's what it smelled like coming out of my office today and as a gardener, I love the smell of fresh, wet grass! Smells like things are growing!
I love living at the coast! We had only one day this winter when we had even a few snowflakes.
Spring is gorgeous here. I love the flowers and the colour of new grass.

The last one is not really spring, per se, but do you see how the ground's visible? That's why it qualifies, haha. :P
omw, you guys, thank you all so much!!!
@vegan - haha, I'll take anything to do with warm weather ;) Just promise they're shaved before you post pictures...
@julie - what city are you in? I don't recognize that skyline!
@minutiae - did you take all of those?! I love them! I really love the little seedlings... and the bees!
I wish I could, but we just got snow yesterday too! It didn't stay, but it was strange because we rarely get snow, and we had 3 snow storms this year! Did you get the yellow dust storm over the weekend? The sky was a haze of yellow/orange all Saturday in Seoul :( I can't wait until cherry blossom time in 2 weeks!
@daydream: Yeah, I took 'em. Aren't the honeybees crazy? I've never seen them out in March before! They must have gotten cabin fever after all of that snow, haha.
@bamm - NO thank goodness, the dust storm swept just baaaarely south of us. Makes sense that you got it... I heard DPRK was pounded pretty hard too! They're saying we should get dust storms for the next few weeks though, once the snow stops. It's supposed to (snow) storm at least once more before it lets up, and then the dust will come (with the ladybugs) to push out the cold.
Seriously, weather here is like NOTHING I ever experienced living in America. It's crazy!
Vancouver,BC, Canada-home of the recently completed first ever Spring Olympic Games!! just joking-thank goodness we had snow on the mountains because we already had spring in town.
we will receive snow with rain this week. so still no spring here but this pic i took it last year in the park in the middle of spring.
@julies - ah, I guess that's why. I'm not so up on my Canadian cities ;) and I'm not really an olympics watcher, or I probably would've recognized it.
@Magenta - pretty!
This was taken last year, since I am in the same boat, Mother Nature thought I wanted another 4 inches of snow apparently.

Wow it's not that springy here yet either! No snow - but no blooms yet either :-(
I'd say I'm glad I'm not alone, but I feel bad for everyone else still enduring winter too!
The spring pictures are so nice though... it's coming, just ... not .... quite ... yet ...
I wanted to thank you all again for your beautiful photos.
It's starting to look like our snow on Thursday (yes, April 16 - you read that right) may have been the last of it. It's warmed up to above freezing and the sun is FINALLY coming out here and there. It's probably low 50s, but about half of the trees are starting to take on the slighest green tint through all the dead-looking-gray, and my allergies are having a field day. I don't think I've ever been so happy to have to dope up every morning!
Spring is almost here... FINALLY!

It's still cold here... we're actually a few hours into the yet another snowstorm (10 inches last week... I'm so sick of snow!) that's supposed to last two days. Everything is still covered in at least four inches of ice, plus the snow on top of that...
I'm starting to feel like spring will never come. Realistically it's about a month/month and a half away still. *sigh*
So I was hoping that you all love me enough to take photos of the beautiful weather where you are and post them so I can live vicarious and warm through you!
