Are you trying to make it darker or lighter? I’m not sure you can make it lighter as the only chemical I know of to do that is bleach, and that would probably ruin it. I have heard that you can use really strong tea to dye white fabrics ivory…

What are you planning on dying it? Is it white and you want to make it ivory or ivory into white? I agree with PP, the only thing I could think to use to make it lighter/white would be bleach which might ruin it. You might be able to use white dye? I haven’t ever tried it so I’m not 100% it will work!

Well if the veil ends up being too light/white, look into the tea thing. I’m not sure what fabrics it works on but I have heard it’s a good way to make white things ivory since it doesn’t have harsh chemicals.
