Yes you certainly can. It means it was stored improperly (most likely on their part). I would go return/exchange it

My step grandmother would return cream cheese she had bought and used most of because it had expired. If you make a big enough stink stores will take back anything. However, the milk you have should be very easy to return and the store should be more than willing to do it.

Yep. If you call the 1800 number, they will also usually send you coupons for free products. I prefer that rather than waiting in line at customer service personally.
