I apparently cannot do anything the easy way.
After looking through Dessy, Davids Bridal, BHLDN, and all the rest, I couldn’t find any bridesmaids dresses that really worked with what I was going for.
I did however find some pictures of vintage dresses that would work.
I was thinking of getting Jasmines or Dressily Me or someplace like that to do them, but I don’t know if that would actually be any cheaper than getting them done around here? They’re just going to be tulle.
Or, if you know of anyone on Etsy who could do something like this, please let me know their name! But they would have to be pretty good. A lot of the stuff I saw on Etsy is convertible dresses or “Shabby Chic” (translation: it looks like something I made in Home Ec.) These dresses, while not super intricate, will require a pretty good deal of skill.
I am trying to keep it at about $200. MOH is going through a divorce, and another bridesmaid has two kids and one of them is the flower girl, so no one can afford too much.
If you did China/Etsy custom bridesmaids dresses, I want to see pics!
