I really prefer the second one, but they are both really pretty.
Thanks guys! I think I might be leaning toward number 2 as well. I bought a much longer aisle than necessary just in case I don't like it, or mess it up! I can just cut it off and try again :)
I like the first one. I think the monogram is hard to read in the second one.
I really like #2. I might be harder to paint but I think you can get a template made at Kinkos or something and then just trace it, no?
I like #2 the best, it's very pretty. The only thing is that it's kind of hard to read... maybe that's just my eyes though..

i think the 2nd one focuses too much on the flourishes than the initials..(too much contrast in the weight of the flourish to the letters too)
I like the first one...it's daintier and just seems more "wedding-y" to me
I like #1 the most. I think the 3 elements of the 2nd choice are spaced too far apart.
The first one is more understated and elegant. I definitely prefer that one. I agree with luli29 in that the spacing is too far apart in the second one. I was confused by it for a brief moment at first. Maybe if the design wrapped around the letters more, or if the letters were a bit smaller?
I like the second one because it is so dramatic and chic but it unfortunately is not that clear - if they could make it more legible it would be perfect!

So, I want to paint something at the foot of our aisle. We had these 'moniograms' created for us on etsy.com. I can't decide which one will look better. We'll be replacing the black with our colors btw. Thanks for your help!
