Hello bees! I’m coming to you all in hopes that you can help with my dress search. I found some pictures of my dream dress. The back is amazing and I absolutely love it. The problem is the dress I found was handmade by the bride’s friend so I can’t really go out and buy it. So I’m hoping somebody out there has found a dress with this kind of back.
Thanks for your help!

http://allurebridals.sitewrench.com/Store_ProductDetail.aspx?pid=23I70F265174913eI33G is kind of similar to that, though it’s beaded. I did try this dress on and it’s beautiful.
Another thing to try would be one of those convertible dresses. You can get that type of a look from them, from what I’ve seen online. Something like this: http://www.henkaa.com/ There are tons of different places/makers of this type of dress. I think Target even has one, and there are a bunch of Etsy sellers that do the convertible dresses as well http://www.etsy.com/search?includes%5B%5D=tags&q=convertible+dress One of the Etsy sellers might be the best bet, as they might be able to make it to your specifications (color, etc) I’ve never purchased, worn, or owned one, so I can’t say what is the best route to go with that.

My bridesmaid dresses are from a company called Henkaa. This dress can transformed into 20 other styles..and one the styles have a back similar to what you’re looking for. They also have the colours in white. There is another company, although more expensive, called Two birds bridesmaid.
Check it out 🙂

@HeathenSwan: Thank you so much! I love the convertible dresses and maybe I could add some fabric flowers or something to make them a little more special.
@futuremrspaulino: I love those Henkaa dresses. And you can’t beat that price for a wedding gown. My only concern would be support in the bust. I’m a C/D so I’m going to need something to help keep me in place. Did you have any busty bridesmaids and did they have any problems? Or would it be possible to sew in some cups or reinforcement of some kind?

@JenGirl: Yes! I actually do have one that has a very large chest, she is going to wear a strapless bra, but her style of dress covers the back strap and shes also doing two straps for more support.
The thing about these dresses is that they are so versatile- you can do combinations of different styles or come up with your own. If you look at the link you’ll notice that the back doesn’t seem to cover a bra strap..but you can adjust them to be a bit wider and that’s what my bridesmaid will be doing.
If you wanted that exact type of style in the picture, you could definitely shoot them an email to ask if they can add in cups. OR you can find a bunch of bras that have straps that could criss cross in the back..and then it’s the matter of playing with the dress.
Good luck 🙂
