On Green Wedding Shoes today, there is a post with these gorgeous flowers. Does anyone know what the grey balls are called? I think they'd be pretty mixed in with pink garden roses...but I'm not finding them when I google "grey balls" lol :)

    Thanks!

I just left Green Wedding Shoes .2 seconds ago after reading this. I think those grey balls are dyed Billy Balls. I love  that bouquet so much! So antique-looking.

I was going to say billy balls as well... Beautiful florals and tablescapes!

Hmm...they do look like billy balls. How would you dye a flower? Sounds labor-intensive...

The same way you would dye anything really. You would just add dye to water and dip the flowers and let the color absorb.

So in case anyone else is interested, the grey balls are called silver brunia...and now I have another question :) Does anyone know what the textured greenish balls in the bouquet are called? Ha, I know my descriptive skills are amazing. I just think this bouquet is perfect!

Gorgeous florals! I love silver brunia. :)

I'm pretty sure the green textured balls are scabiosa pods!
