I've seen DIYs on how to dye them a totally different color, so I dont see why you wouldnt be able to dye it ivory. I've never heard of using tea to do it, but I'm willing to bet you could find some ivory dye and do it right in your washing machine.
I have seen people use tea to dye. My mother and grandmother used to do it all the time. I have never personally tried it, but I would reccommend trying it out to see how it works on a piece of scrap fabric. Also, make sure you find out how to make the tea set so it doesnt run or stain your dress.

I posted before in under the title "Dress Doubts" I added a crinoline to my dress and magically, the dress became the one. Now I'm so happy that I had doubts because it lead me to buy a crinoline in the first place.
Anyway, the crinoline is bright white and the dress is ivory. I just would like the two to match. Anyone take a white crinoline to ivory? Can you buy dye for such a minimal color change? Anyone try to dye crinoline with black tea?
Thanks for the help.
