Are you in pain?  Is the pain increasing or the frequency?  If you’re concerned, call your doctor or go the ER.  I remember having Braxton-Hicks quite frequently, but the sensation was tightening, odd, not exactly pleasant, but not painful.

Yes I had them and thought that maybe it was the beging of labor but they would eventually just stop…

If you are worried about it though you should call your doctor he/she would know your pregnacy better than any of us!

Try laying down. It sounds simple but it really can be an indicator. I thought I was in labor several times. Severe pains, tightening of the belly, etc. I would lay down and within and hour it would stop. It was frustrating to say the least…lol

@StormyRose:  I agree, our childbirth instructor said to drink water (sometimes BH are caused by dehydration), empty your bladder, and/or lie down (preferably on your left side).

Yep! I had mine come and go for about 2 days before I delivered my daughter! Lots of water, and try laying down on your left side! Good luck!

@stbMohror:  Thanks for asking the question here.  good info to share.  I hope you really go into labor soon or the Bh slacks off a bit for you.  Boo to not feeling well.
