Long story short, my fiance bought me two wedding bands, one for each side of my e-ring. For some reason the girl at the store ordered them in the stock size instead of my size, so they had to be resized 2.5 sizes. They’re beautiful rings, and they look lovely with one on each side but I feel like having both on really takes away from my center stone, which is my favorite part of my e-ring. I’d like for my fiance to take one of the bands back, but since they’ve been resized, is this even an option? They’re from Kay, if that helps! Has anyone ever returned a ring that was resized?

Probably not but your best bet is to simply ask the store or check their website.

@BlondeMissMolly: Thanks for responding. That’s what I was afraid of. I read the return policy on the receipt and checked their website and it doesn’t say anything specific about returning rings that have been sized.

I bought a band at zales and had t reSized then realized I no longer liked it. I got a refund on the ring but not on the warranty I bought for it. So it’s possible. HTH!

Have you thought about the fact of wearing them in a non-traditional way ?
I have 3 Rings… 1 ERing & 2 WBands, and I like the fact that I can do soooo much with them.
I wear them 1, 2, 3 at time. Mix n Match… Stack em etc. They can show up all together on one finger… or some on my LH and some on my RH. Soooo many options !! LOVE IT
Actually thinking I may get myself some other Spacers / Rings to stack as well.
Here is some ring porn for you:

PHOTO # 3 – 2 WBands
As you can see… lots of options & lots of fun.
Hope this helps,

@CoronaSpeaks: Oh nooo. It’s good that they let you return it but that sucks about the warranty. If we’re able to return it, I hope we get refunded for the warranty, too. It was $70!

@This Time Round: Thanks for the suggestions. If we’re forced to keep it, I’ll just wear it as I have originally planned with one on each side, but I don’t think I’ll love it.

Okay, I just went to the Kay website again and I did a live chat with one of their customer service reps and she told me that I can return a resized ring. Thanks for the answers, though, guys! 🙂
