Does any know?
Yes, but you should stop once you see two pink lines. In fact, you have to take it your whole cycle because you dont usually respond to it/get its full benefits until 90 continuous days if taking it.
just saw this. THanks 🙂
i am! I wanted to regulate my cycles and it worked right away! I plan to take another bottle and we are TTC next month. I plan to stop after my “O” just on the RARE chance that it works the first time. if I get my period, then I’ll take them again for two weeks before I might conceive, etc, etc.
i wasn’t too irregular… but sometimes 32-35 days.
I think I started on my period, maybe on day 3 or 4.
I used it before, in my early 20’s when I was having period issues, so I knew it worked for me, and I always go the natural, herbal route.
the brand I have now is Natural Factors. I take two capsules first thing in the morning with a glass of water.
I took Vitex and it worked a treat! I started taking it whereever I happened to be in my cycle and took it all the way through the cycle without pausing. That’s what it said to do on the packet, I*d follow those instructions on yours.
I had a somewhat irregular cycle, 30-40 days, late ovulation, sometimes with spotting. TTC without success for 6 months, then started Vitex, and 2 cycles later I ovulated like clockwork on day 14 and fell pregnant that month!
I did a lot of research on European websites before taking it and now I’m a total advocate for Vitex!
Also, +1 to Chuck Norris – stop taking it as soon as you fall pregnant, as paradoxically it’s not safe during pregnancy. And yes, it takes a couple of months to show its effect.
Here is my blurb from a while ago, trying to spread the word about Vitex: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/amazing-tipp-that-might-help-you-get-that-bfp-pls-read-and-share
Is vitex safe for me take during my cycle days?
