(Closed) can you use votive holders for tealight candles?

I think it will look fine… Plus, I think it will make the glass glow more, insted of having the flame closer to the top like you would get with votive candles.

Absolutely.  In fact it was a rule at my venue that all candle holders had to be higher than the flame, so this would have been the only way I could have used votive holders.

That is what is commonly used for tealights. Most places are required by the local fire dept to have the entire flame enclosed in glass. With tealight candles, that is only accomplished with votive holders.

Tea lights look awesome in votive holders.  I use tea lights in my votive holders quite often because it lights up the glass more and seems to glow better that way (like katieb said).
