Where are you in Canada and what stores have you tried already?
I am in the Toronto area. I have tried the following stores:
Crate and Barrel
Home Sense
Chair Source
Restoration Hardware
Pottery Barn
Pier 1
The Bay
Urban Barn
Sears Home
Stores that sell Sun Pan
Anything other stores that you can think of ? Thanks!!
Hmmm..that is a pretty exhaustive list!
A couple places I would try:
-Structube - for example: http://www.structube.com/en/dining-room/chairs/80111110-claude
-Overstock.com - most of their furniture only ships to the States, but if you find something you really like it might be a good time to get a shipping address in Buffalo and have it shipped there (I have one and use it regularly for stuff that won't ship to Canada). I only mention it because my best friend got some awesome white parsons chairs from Overstock recently.
-This might sound dumb, but have you tried good old IKEA? I know you said leather, and I'm not sure they can help you in that department, but they do have these: http://www.ikea.com/ca/en/catalog/products/S39861423/
-I also feel like I recently saw some at Costco
-I found this website, about which I know nothing, but which seems to have a LOT of selection: http://www.artefac.ca/
This may be one of those annoying cases where you just have to wait it out and keep visitng stores until they get more stock - especially places like HomeSense. I am still waiting to find the perfect coffee table and have been searching for about two years now.....
@hergreenapples: thank you for the links you posted. I appreciate you taking the time to do that for me. Unfotunately we cant wait too long as we sold our set on kijiji(before buying a new one as we thought it would take a while! It wasnt too smart i know!!) We bought a new table but still need someone where to sit!! Lol! I should check out the artefac store! Thanks again for your help! : )
