The simpliest option would be if you can get your hands on some permanent stamps.  Some people really stocked up and are planning to sell them.

@AlmostMrsPeck:  I was able to buy a roll of permenant stamps before they sold out. I heard they have stopped selling them but maybe you can find a store that still has some? Otherwise…. BALLS! We are doing online RSVP. Figure why waste all the money on stamps if 70% people don’t reply?

If you make it March 31st and people are late mailing them back you may miss some RSVPs if Canada posts decides to be really pick about postage those first couple weeks! Like another poster said try to find the permanent stamps ask family and friends you might get lucky and someone was able to stock up!

@AlmostMrsPeck:  That is genius! Return address is your address! I would mail them well before the stamp price changes and then not worry about the insufficient RSVP cards. I guess they will give some leeway for a few weeks after the change.

OH MY GOODNESS! My jaw just dropped with relief. I had thought the price change was effective January 2014. I have time then! 🙂 (Thanks, OP!)

I am going to take advantage of the imposed deadline and get it mailed by February. I wasn’t able to find permanent stamps. I was going to try Costco, but on Boxing Week, I could forget it!

Ditto with wedding website RSVP. A kind Bee on this thread told me about Google Docs (Form) and it records each RSVP on a spreadsheet, which could be linked to a budget file!

Coscto is still selling the Permanent ones.  But Canada Post outlets have stopped.  I’d say grab a roll from there and you can use them.

    yes stock up now

I believe the increase is in March plus it might be better to send it out earlier anyway
