Were you recently switched to a community mailbox?  I have not sent out my invitations yet and I have not checked my mail in a week so I’m not sure if I’ve received mail with stamps. I think if there was a problem with your stamps they would send them back to you.

Nope. No stamp mail here either. One parcel, which is beyond obnoxious considering we are waiting on insurance forms and tax refunds.

Do you have enough postage on them?  My RSVP envelopes were close to being too small to be standard, and would have required more postage.

Weird…I’m getting all of my mail as usual. My postie seems to like to take Fridays off but other than that it’s all ticking along just fine

MsGinkgo:  In that case, I would be surprised if there are issues with the P stamp, this isn’t the first postage increase they have had since they were introduced.  Hopefully they will start showing up soon!

I haven’t gotten anything with a stamp on it in April, but I usually only get things like that when it comes to birthdays and holidays, so I don’t feel like I’m missing anything.

Is there someone you could talk to, to do a test with one of them?

That surprised me too (the permanent stamps). I’ve read everywhere online people saying they changed the permanent stamps, that those we already owned wouldn’t be used anymore (or that you had to go to the post office to pay the difference between the new and old stamps). I didn’t check on the official Post Canada website and I went to the post office yesterday to mail something standard, expecting to pay a few cents more in order to stamp and mail it. The lady told me to use the Permanent stamps I already owned, that there wasn’t any problem using them still. They’ll sell the new ones at the new price, but the old ones are still valid.

Could it be that they’re just slow at delivering it? Sometimes we get no mail for days, and then a big bundle of mail. Makes me think they save it up and deliver less often.

We have gotten one stamped RSVP back since the rate change & the rest of our mail seems to be delivered as to usual patterns prior to the rate change. Like others, we almost never get stamped mail.

I wouldn’t worry.  I have been getting mail as usual.  I even got some of my RSVP’s yesterday with only a 63 cent stamp on them.  Maybe it’s just a slow mail week?

MsGinkgo:  We have received our normal mail with no problems- stamped, metered and junk.
