Hello Bees! So this may sound kind of lame, but I’m super pumped about a shopping spree I’m going on this weekend to Fargo and Grand Forks! I know you’re probably thinking “Ugh, way to head to a small town” But I am from Canada (Winnipeg to be exact). You’d think that a city with the population of the entire state of North Dakota, that we’d have good shopping here, but there’s a lot of US stores that I love that we don’t have here. Plus it’s going to be a good mother/daughter weekend.
I plan on hitting up JC Penny, Gordmans, Kohl’s, Dress Barn, DSW and Victoria’s Secret (Fagro/Grand Forks. Any other suggestions on stores that might be in the area? I’m mainly looking fora new dress or two, and a bunch of new work clothes, especially work tops. I also want to get a few new pairs of dress shoes and possibly a pair of nice black boots, but tall boots (I have a cute pair of Steve Madden Ankle boots).
I love designer brands, but am also a bargain shopper, and won’t pay full price for designer brands (I LOVE outlets… got a cashmere sweater from Barney’s that was regular price $170 but I paid $30 for it!).
Any suggestions on places you all love to shop?

There is a mall in Fargo called West Acres mall.
It’s been a while since I’ve been there but it was really nice. I like Gap, New York & Company, and The Limited.

As a Canadian who used to shop in America all the time (I lived in Thunder Bay, population 100,000 and 6 hrs to nearest shopping!), I used to love hitting up the Dollartree and Target. Not sure why, but I always find amazing things there!

Oh, how I miss taking a trips across the border to go shopping! For some wierd reason I always included a trip to a grocery store just to see all the things we didn’t have in Canada. When I was younger I was always jealous of the Pop Tart selection/flavours!
I have never been shopping in Fargo/Grand Forks, so I can’t give you specific advice on stores there. But there is a website which has helpful information for Canadians that are going shopping in America:
You can find all the stores in the area you want to visit, and also coupons and other fun things.
Hope this helps, and hope you have an amazing shopping trip!
