I’m looking at hanging a few wrought iron/crystal candle chandeliers in the barn where my ceremony will be, but unfortunately lit candles are prohibited in the barn. Would it look weird to have the chandeliers hanging with unlit candles? Are the flameless taper candles horribly tacky looking if I decided to go that route?
Thanks for any input!

No, I think the flameless would look okay, especially since they’re high up as chandeliers. I would like that more than unlit regular wax candles. If you think about it, a lot of chandeliers in restaurants/boutiques/homes are electric and they all look fine. You can even get the flameless ones that look all drippy, if the old castle look is what you are going for.

Remember to look at remote controlled flameless candles- so much easier to operate, you don’t have to lower the chandeliers to turn on the candles.

I would definitely go with the flameless. We have them in our home and they give off a great glow without the fire danger (I’m super paranoid).

I think the flameless would look much better than not lit candles.
