Candle Tree Centerpiece...DIY/buy?

MsAnnaLytical    March 13, 2010   Orlando, FL--finally with my FI!

After months of deliberation, I (think) I have determined my centerpiece idea. The guests' tables will have tons of varying sizes of candles, while the head table will feature one of those glorious candle tree centerpieces. (While I'd love to have 20 tree centerpieces, they are both expensive and hard to put together).

Here's my dilemma- I can't find one of these trees to just outright buy on any website, anywhere. Maybe I'm not using correct search terms (I call them candle trees, but there may be another turn of phrase I'm not familiar with), or maybe people just don't sell them as such.

Does anyone know where I could buy one? If not, is there some kind of step-by-step guide to the materials and assembly of this type of centerpiece?

Just fyi, I'm doing my own flowers, so getting my "florist" to put one together for me is out, unless a DIY guide is floating around out there.

Those look like they might be made out of some type of manzanita branches.  I don't know how difficult it would be to DIY, but this website looks like they sell the branches and the hanging votive holders: http://www.bloomsandbranches.com/

I think they look like manzanita branches too but they look to skinny to be them. I have some curly willow branches and they are more upright. I would check here they have a ton of different branches, maybe you'll find what you're looking for?
