I’d like to use a lot of candles in my reception centerpieces. Ideally, I’d like glass candle holders of varying heights with either pillar candles or floating candles. My florist suggested varying heights of hurricane vases, but proceeded to quote me 1600$ for candles alone! Any suggestions of where to buy in bulk for cheap? I’m attaching an image of our centerpiece inspiration. The only difference is that we’ll need candles that are covered, rather than on pedestal stands. It’s an outdoor wedding under a tent!

This is a super DIY option but we had candleabras that needed glass to meet the no exposed flame requirement. We got the glass from the dollar store and drilled holes in the center for the little spike. You could E600 glue dollar store vases to candle sticks of varying heights, you probably wouldn’t wven need to drill. We used all dollar store candles…not a pro photo so you can’t see how perfect the lighting looked but it was very romantic!

You can buy cylinder vases at Dollar Tree for $1. You can even order them online for pickup at your nearest Dollar Tree with no shippping charge.
If you want to elevate some of them, you can glue them to candlesticks you find at thrift shops or again the Dollar Store, with E6000 glue.
you can use smaller glasses for votives or tealights
Remember that you can also get the different heights by elevating some of the cylinder vases on books, boxes etc.
Ikea and Candels4less have good prices. There have been other sources mentioned in previous posts. Do a search here on WeddingBee.
