My color theme is slate blue and copper. I’m having blue hydrangeas as the centerpieces and wanted to add some copper elements, but it’s not very common (which I also like).
I really wanted candles, and something copper, but couldn’t find anything close, unless it was $10, so I found a way to do it myself! I was debating doing the spray paint thing but wasn’t crazy about the look, then discovered this copper leaf stuff when googling anything and everything copper.
I am going to do a combo of the rim and the stencil, and will try to find a bigger sticker stencil to use so the design doesn’t have to be as precise. I think this one looks a tad messy. I did one covered in copper leaf but it didn’t look as elegant and used a whole sheet of the copper leaf (at $1 each). The candle holders were $1 each, and the stuff to do the copper leaf $40+, but still cheaper or the same as renting plain candle holders from the venue!
Check it out!
