I suggest doing it now, and then putting the candy in airtight containers until your are ready to put it in the jars for your wedding.

Ziploc bags are pretty airtight and not too expensive, so you can always go buy a few boxes of those to store everything until the big day.

I agree, do a test run now to make sure you have enough and then store it for later. I was at Target a couple of weeks ago in the candy aisle and there was a mom there frantically trying to find affordable purple and green candy for her daughter’s wedding which was the next day because they only ordered 1lb of each of the candies and it wasn’t anywhere close to being enough to fill the jars. By testing now you’ll be able to make sure you have enough and make sure it looks the way you envisioned (and maybe even sample some).

Just make sure to clean the jars before and after and dry them really well before putting any candy in them.

Yes, yes!!! You have to do it now!! Practice makes pefect! Set it all up and take pictures so the person setting it up for you will know what you want. You want it to look good and the only way to see that is by doing it before hand. Are you including a framed saying like, “love is sweet, have a treat?” Are you putting out candles, flowers and little candy bags. You need to know how it will all look. I really want a candy bar, but don’t know who will do all the set up for me. Who is setting up yours?
