    Hi everyone,

So Ive been working on my candy buffet and finally I think I have everything needed  I'm just not sure if I should tie ribbon in a bow or glue the ends  The ribbon is polkadot, is it too much?

    What do you guys think?

    Anyone having a candy buffet?

I think it depends on the feel that you want. The glued ends would be a little more modern & neat looking. I think the bows are a little more fun and flirty!

Love your ribbons! I loved the ribbon by itself, but all together it might be too much. Glueing would definitely give a cute yet simple look to it.

I would glue it at the ends, but that's just my opinion. Which look do you prefer?

I think it would look great if you did a combination of the two. The container with the bow looks great and the ones with the glued ends also look great. Maybe tie a bow on certain containers and glue ribbon on others, I think alternating would be very cute and fun. But I agree it depends on the look that you are going for. Do what you love!

I kind of like the bows cause they're fun and flirty. :) But if you're concerned about it being too busy, they look nice glued too!

I say do both! Tie bows for the tall curvy jars and glue the ends for the square jars with the ribbing.

I also vote for gluing the ends, but are you planning to attach a label to the front of the glassware to label the contents? Bc if you are, you could see what it looks like to place the ribbons in the middle of the glass or from the top like this, http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/07/09/jade-and-ron-candy-buffet/#more-100386

I vote for mixing them up.  It looks really great -- don't forget to take the labels off the bottom of your glass jars though!

I say mix them up!  But I would glue more...just a few scattered bows so it isn't too busy.

I think the bows are really cute, but the glued ends seem a little more sophisticated, maybe you could just tie a few of them i bows, the square jars look nice with bows!

Do you have any candy you could use as a test?  I love the idea of using bows, but if you have a jar filled of multi colored candy, the bow will likely get lost and not worth the effort....
