I don't know if you have a Joanns fabric store where you are but they have David Tutera clear plastic one's there for a reasonable price too.
I didn't like any of the plastic ones, so I purchased mine from Bed, Bath, & Beyond; then I blinged them out with Swarvoski crystals.
@Birdie Love: I went to the store to get them because they are only about 15 miles from us. I also didn't get your typical scoop and tongs. The scoop is more like a ladle and the tongs are ice tongs. Here is my DIY link to them.
Eureka! I found tongs on eBay and scoops with cheaper shipping on Amazon. Yay!

Unfortunately the town I live in doesn't really have any restaurant supply stores or major retail stores (Target, Wal-Mart, etc.). I have been looking online for candy scoops and tongs for our candy buffet. I have been SHOCKED at how much the shipping costs for 5 tongs and 5 scoops!! I'm talking $20+ for shipping! This has been on multiple sites. I didn't think the scoops and tongs would be that heavy!
Bees...where did you buy your serving supplies for your candy buffet?
